This project involved a new master bedroom addition for a house located on a bluff above the beach. The house faces south and receives ample natural light so that a new pergola was added to help shade the house from summer sun.

sustainable features: passive solar design, shading on south facade, reused salvage materials from on site, solar thermal pool heating, engineered wood for new addition, new high performance pella windows, increased insulation, new tile for thermal mass in south facing living areas
